Day One of Series 4 started at 7:17 am with dog # 89. We had gun changes after dog #'s 113, 10 and 38. The Field Trial Committee was hoping to get another 20 through the series, but we ran out of time and had to end the day with dog # 32 at 7:22 pm. We did get a total of 68 dogs through the series in just a little over 12 hours. The average run time per dog was around 10.5 minutes. For the first 68 dogs we had 14 handles, 10 pick ups, 1 double handle and 1 dog broke on the flyer. We had a total of 3 no bird issues (two were on the same dog) but those dogs came back right away to their series.
One of the pick ups were due to injury. Please keep the dog and its owners in your thoughts.
Let's see if a day changes the out come of the last 29 dogs left to run! There will be a gun change after dog # 69.
