Three whistles to get Chase into the water for his initial swim. Two more while swimming to the right point and on to off the point. He then had to get six whistles to get to the left point and another three to get to the next right point. Following this it took multiple whistles to get him to the bird.

FC-AFC HOLLAND CLIFFS IN HOT PURSUIT, "Chase" LM (8/22/12)

Chase came to the line at 10:19 am.
Pheasant Flyer - Directly to the bird.
Short Retired - Chase worked the side of the hill to the fall area and got his bird.
Duck flyer - He went up to the top of the hill behind the guns. He took a loop behind the guns then worked in front of them to get his bird.
Long Retired - Going down to the left side of the hill to the holding, Chase worked the valley, crossed the stream then made a tight loop and got it!

Chase and Alvin came to the line at 2:49 pm.
Chase's first whistle was to get him in the water. Two more to put him up on land, followed by another blow to get him in the second bit of water and parallel the shore. His final two was to try to bring him in closer to the shore a bit.

Flyer - Chase came back with the flyer
Middle Retired - He arrived at the area of the fall entering from the left side. He works the base of the mound with a couple of passes and works his way into the bird.
Long Retired - He put up a hunt short and in front of the pond before the mound. He worked his way through the pond and up to the bird.
Bye Dog - Blue came to the line at 5:20 pm.

Came to the line...
Water - Chase went out straight over the log to the edge of the water where he got his first whistle to put him into the pond on the far side. Two more whistles and then he got his bird.
Land - Initial line gave him a great angle across the road. The first whistle at the cover and to the top of the hill. One cast to the bird - missed - a few more whistles and got it.
