Fun Fact on Hawk: He is our only Golden Retriever still competing in the 2019 NARC. He completed is AFC in October 2018.

Hawk and handler Ernie came to the line 12:44 pm.

Right Flyer - Excellent line and recovery

Left Flyer - Hawk went around the end of the pond and entered the area of the fall behind the blind, then quickly moves to his flyer hen.

Island Bird - He went left of the point which put his line wide left, but Hawk adjusted himself as he came to the last piece of water where he swam to his bird.

Long Retired - He went left of the hay bale that s at the base of the hill where the line is. He continues to fade left and is handled to his bird.

NOTE: We have been told that the Judges are still deliberating about this contestant.

Hawk and handler Ernie came to the line for their 9th series...

S. Flyer - Big Splash and Sluice really draws the dog. Hawk goes right to the bird in the pond.

Flyer - Straight to the fall area and the birds

Middle Retired - Wide right going out, he caught a small right side of the water and headed to the trees in the distance but turned right and picked up the middle retired.

Long Retired - Sent wide left this time and Hawk came around from behind and got the bird.

Duck Flyer - Hawk got out of the water a little early. He climb the hill and established a hunt high then he looped into the bird.

Rooster Retired - Very Good Mark!

Hen Pheasant Flyer - He established a hunt and got his bird.

Hen Pheasant Retired - He got through the ponds then drove the hill for a great mark.

Hawk took four cast to get into the water due to being wide right. Catching the tules he got another two whistles to get to the first point and one more to get off. He carried the line almost to the second point where he got one cast for the line and one to get out and one to get off the point. Hawk got two cast on his swim to the third point and a cast to get on the point. This carried him through the last part of his swim, where he took a few more cast to get out of the water and to his bird.

Hawk came to the line at 5:52 pm

Pheasant Flyer - Hawk made a few turns in the fall area and got his bird.

Short Retired - Going down the side of the hill, just past the bird, he made a quick turn and got it.

Duck Flyer - Getting out to the top of the hill, Hawk gets just deep of the guns. He turns down towards the bird, but misses it then left the area. He returned then got his bird.

Long Retired - He went down to the blind area to put on a hunt and get his bird.

Hawk got to line at 5:35 pm

Hawk's initial line took him just past the mount. His first cast was to get into the first bit of water. He got two additional casts to get on the second piece of land. Following this he received four more to get int eh second water and several more to put him on his bird.

Flyer - Nice job of finding his bird.

Middle Retired - Hawk went straight out to the bale approximately 50 yards from the mound, short hunt then moved on to the mound and the bird.

Long Retired - Nice line into the pond and across the field and into the second piece of water. Hawk went straight to the mound, made one quick turn in the cover and got his bird.

Hawk came to the line...

Water - Initial line took Hawk over the log to where he got his first cast to get through the cover and into the pond. This carried him to the far shore where he got one more whistle at his bird.

Land - Initial line got him across the road. The then got three cast t catch the cover and two more to where he got his bird.
