Our Top 16!!!
The excitement is thick in the air in Ronan, Montana as we get ready to watch our top 16 dogs of the 2019 National Amateur Retriever Club Championship compete in their 10th and final series. This is a day everybody has been waiting for since the end of last years event. The day we see the best of the best in amateur handled field trial retrievers run their last test and the winning dog is crowned.
Let's take a look at our field...
In our senior class we have two that have already been crowned the NARC Champion, will we have a repeat or will the second oldest dog (who is month younger then Tubb) and the only female in this class take the title. All three of these dogs do not have a previous handle going into this series, but with the competition competing again

Junior Class (2011 - 2012)
What can we say about this class...they all have experience, the wisdom that comes with age and a couple years of youth on our senior dogs. We have two in this class that has earned the rare accomplishment of being a Double Header winner. One them doing it two times. We also have previous year High Point winning dogs. And we cannot forget about our only Canadian dog that is competing. To say the lease, our Junior class has some pretty amazing retrievers in it.

Sophomore Class (2013 - 2014)
Our babies of the event. The "Underclassmen"! This class holds a Double Header winner, High Point Derby dog and Purina High Point Amateur dog. Our youngest dog 6 years younger then the oldest dog and is still working hard to complete his FC and AFC titles! Could he just skip them all and become a NAFC right away. Could our winning dog be the only Golden still competing or maybe a first time National competitor?

No matter what dog gets crowned the 2019 NARC Champion, ALL 130 dogs that qualified are amazing retrievers that we all love and could not imagine a life without them!
